Summer Photo Shoot 2009

We got some updated photos of Butters this summer.  He has progressed so much in the last few months and has been a blast to ride.

March 2008

The German Equestrian Alliance show at Clarcona Horsemen's park was a great way to end the season.

Butters consistently scored in the high 60's for his training level tests.  Faya received a 69% for her First Level test and a 7.8 for the the 4 Year Old test.  This brings her average up to a 7.6 and puts her in a great position in qualifying for the National Young Horse Championships.  I had a little bit of a shaky Grand Prix with Picasso, but still ended up winning the class with a 62%.  The Special went much better and received a 64% including a "9" for our one tempis down the centerline!

February 2008

The Zada Cup horse show at Clarcona Horsemen's Park was not only the first show for my horse, Butters, but also a wonderful mare I have in training, Faya, owned by Liz Spiker.

Butters exhibited typical "baby behavior," but was overall very good.  We got some really nice comments from the judges and know that we have lots of potential once he gets a little more relaxed at horse shows.  I can't wait to see how he develops!

Faya, at just coming four, is mature beyond her years and showed what we already knew.  This mare has a great mind to go along with her great gaits!  She got 69% in her first test ever and went on to have a great ride in the FEI 4 year old class.

I had probably the best Grand Prix ever on Picasso.  I finally feel like we can really ride the test and not just worry about making it through.

Next show is in two weeks at Canterbury!  Butters will be getting out again and Faya will do the 4 year old test.

June 2007

My website is finally here! This is my first attempt at a webpage so please feel to let me know if something doesn't look or work right.

After a successful show season where Picasso and I made our Grand Prix debut and earned my U.S.D.F. Gold Medal at our first two shows, Picasso is getting some well deserved down time.  While Picasso is enjoying the lighter work and lots of trail rides, it won't be long before we're back in full swing and getting ready for Regionals in October.

Zydeco is slowly getting started under saddle and progressing nicely.  I like him more and more every day!

And Butters (Winter's Tale) is proving to be quite the talented dressage horse, as well.  It amazes me how balanced he is for being so young and green.
